Redeem on Amazon Website:
Log In: Go to Amazon’s official website and log in to your Amazon account. If you don’t have an account, you’ll need to create one.
Access Gift Cards: Once you’re logged in, click on “Accounts & Lists” at the top right corner of the Amazon homepage, then select “Your Account.”
Gift Cards & Registry: In the “Your Account” section, find the “Gift cards” option and click on it.
Redeem a Gift Card: On the Gift Cards page, locate the “Redeem a Gift Card” option and click on it.
Enter Code: You’ll need to scratch off the claim code on the back of the gift card to reveal the code. Carefully enter the code in the provided field and click “Apply to Your Balance.”
Balance Updated: After entering the code and confirming, the balance on your Amazon account should be updated with the gift card amount.
Redeem on Amazon Mobile App:
Open App: Open the Amazon mobile app on your smartphone or tablet.
Menu: Tap on the three horizontal lines (menu) icon in the top left corner.
Your Account: Scroll down and tap on “Your Account.”
Gift Cards: Under the “Amazon Wallet” section, tap on “Gift Cards.”
Redeem a Gift Card: Tap on the “Redeem a Gift Card” button.
Enter Code: Carefully type in or scan the claim code from the back of the gift card.
Apply to Your Balance: Tap “Apply to Your Balance” after entering the code.
Confirmation: If the code is valid, your Amazon account balance will be updated with the gift card amount.
Once the redemption is successful, the gift card balance will be added to your Amazon account. You can then use this balance to make purchases on Amazon. Remember, if you’re trying to redeem an Amazon gift card for a specific country, make sure you are accessing the appropriate Amazon website for that country, as gift card redemption processes can vary based on region.
